Pros

If you’re one of the chosen few, you get paid a lot of money to do a lot of nothing other than make it harder for other people to do their jobs. A lot of your happiness will depend on who your direct manager and chain of leadership is and how much you are willing to suck up or look the other way.

Cons

Weak and nepotistic leadership. Most of the executive team is in over their heads. Long time customers have been leaving in droves. More and more jobs are being sent overseas but the US team has to deal with the customer backlash and the executive team keeps trying to spin it as positive. They keep buying more companies but have not gotten a grasp on the ones they already have and have ruined what great things these prior companies accomplished. Horrible benefits, especially the health insurance, that HR pretends is competitive. Leadership that allows consistent unprofessional and reckless behavior from some men in leadership. Most of the long time employees still here are miserable or biding their time. Inconsistent and illogical policies across locations and teams, especially regarding working from home.

Pros

Remote. I really liked the program used and actually, my job, because I was very efficient and good at what I did.

Cons

Severely underpaid. Ended up doing other people's work. When India almost lost them Enterprise, I was on the small team that brought them back. Received one raise in the almost 4 years there and it was to offset the insurance I was now having to pay for as the company DISA purchased had provided our health insurance at no cost to us. They liked to re-arrange supervisors and put micro-managers in charge and most the time, they didn't even know proper information.
