Pros
Care - they genuinely care about their people, the culture, learning and developing the staff, knowledge sharing, mentoring... And they also really care about making customers happy. It's awesome! Benefits - 70% of my health insurance (Medibank Gold) is paid for. I had my teeth fixed finally! People & Culture - everyone is so friendly and helpful and welcoming. It's a pleasure to deal with such a friendly bunch. Management - I have never been micromanaged, and my Manager is more of a mentor and a friendly reminder of what I need to focus on. Autonomy/WFH - it's perfectly normal at Deltek that I prefer to wfh 100%. No one bats an eyelid. It's just normal. So refreshing! Global - we have people all over the world. It's diverse and exciting, and it gives me confidence that we're not going anywhere anytime soon. Friendly & Welcoming - every single person I've spoken to at Deltek has been super friendly and helpful. No one has ever been negative or anti. It's great! Collaborative - it's a breath of fresh air to know that I don't have to do everything myself, and that there are literal teams of people there to support me and answer any of my questions.
Cons
I haven't really found any, besides the fact that the time difference between me in Brisbane and my Manager in Washington means I only get to speak to him in my mornings/his evenings.
