Pros

You can get as much as you want/can chew. Should you want to narrow down yourself to just Java backend - fine, if you want to convert into, say, frontend or iOS, there are opportunities for that. Plenty of good people around, especially among those who have been with the company for a long time.

Cons

Most of the projects is outsourcing. There are some product developments too, but not so much.

And since we are willing to do that, we offer opportunities on many projects, including outsourced ones, and our own. In the years to come, we'll have more original projects. Hope you'll be keen on taking part!) We also value your contribution to the atmosphere of collaboration and support, without our colleagues, it would be just impossible. Thank you for being with us! Pros

Sophisticated projects, small and large, short and "eternal" - one will find its best fit to work on. Relatively flat hierarchy, not much of "from top to bottom" type of management, relaxed control processes. Sub-cutting edge technologies (large projects), but fairly modern anyway. Personal performance reviews somewhat useful for career and professional development, if you are lucky with your team leader/dept. manager. Meals provided on site, 3 sick days, standard 4 weeks vacation, salary paid bi-weekly with no delays in years (except for 1-2 days on a very few occasions)

Cons

Not really 100% agile process. Time-tracking for developers/QA/M&S (semi-automated). Can't take all 4 weeks of vacation at once - must split by 2w+2w or smaller chunks. Personal performance reviews are not necessarily leading to salary increase (make sense, but... ;-) Salaries are fixed in rubles for Russian locations.
