Pros

* Good focus on employees' well-being and work-life balance: lots of programs to support engineers during the pandemic. Overtime work is not expected and is explicitly discouraged * A very flexible workspace: flexible approach to working hours and vacations and teams are distributed all over Europe. * Competitive salary * Partial reimbursement for dinners, even during home office times * Multiple offices in different locations in Europe with an ability to work from these offices * A big variety of projects, from startups to huge and well-established platforms.

Cons

* Compensation approach is ad-hoc: there is no transparent grid and rules to define one's grade and salary depending on performance. So every salary increase is a matter of negotiations. In some cases one can feel a salary ceiling

Pros

Sophisticated projects, small and large, short and "eternal" - one will find its best fit to work on. Relatively flat hierarchy, not much of "from top to bottom" type of management, relaxed control processes. Sub-cutting edge technologies (large projects), but fairly modern anyway. Personal performance reviews somewhat useful for career and professional development, if you are lucky with your team leader/dept. manager. Meals provided on site, 3 sick days, standard 4 weeks vacation, salary paid bi-weekly with no delays in years (except for 1-2 days on a very few occasions)

Cons

Not really 100% agile process. Time-tracking for developers/QA/M&S (semi-automated). Can't take all 4 weeks of vacation at once - must split by 2w+2w or smaller chunks. Personal performance reviews are not necessarily leading to salary increase (make sense, but... ;-) Salaries are fixed in rubles for Russian locations.
