Very little talent left after Enavate cleaned house. Most of the Executive Management that handled the acquisition and merger have left the company, for better or worse.
Management kept throwing around the word "family" to describe what we supposedly were. Most of us bought into it and worked diligently trying to turn this into a world class company. If we were a family, it was the type where the parents lie to the children with a smile on their faces assuring everyone that things were great.
Unfortunately management didn't, and still doesn't, understand how to run a company. They allowed clients and sales to dry up. Once they realized there were money issues they did a 180, fired most of their consultants, and focused entirely on sales. How exactly do you support a sale when there are no warm bodies left to implement and manage client requirements? That is the question that Exec Mgmt continues to fail to address.
At the beginning Consultants and Developers were laid off as your standard post-acquisition downsizing. At the end? Laid off because there hadn't been any work available for 5 months. That should tell the entire story right there.
