Pros

- There are still a number of really competent and world class individual contributors and managers. (though many have left or are leaving). - Good place to gain experience in how to deal with overwhelming goals and little to no resources or help.

Cons

** After I left they sent me a bottle of liquor, I don't drink liquor and even went to AA because of it years ago. Shows how much they know and respect their employees. (they have done this for all employees as they know past employees are unhappy and the recent reviews show it. Every single note they have sent is the exact same as well, just another show case of the false culture they are trying to display). - TERRIBLE management from the top down. - Next to no resources to accomplish highly aspirational goals and tasks assigned. - TOXIC work environment, in the recent 6-12 months generally 2-3 employees leave a month. - Everything is political, from the goals you are assigned to the way you are judged/ graded. - Trying to be Amazon while only being a 12-15 million a year business. It simply does not fit.

Pros

The job is remote, which is really the only nice thing I have to say about the experience.

Cons

Roles/responsibilities constantly changing. A lot of wasted time in meetings. End up doing a lot of management work for them. Poor communication. In all the experience was all over the place, the role kept changing, consistently asked to do things not specified in the job description or that I had been hired for. Very unorganized. Bad follow-through on compensating me for extra work. It took months to get paid for additional work I had been asked to do. Even then the pay was not what had been promised. Management is all over the place, very poor and unprofessional work experience. When wanting to take time off, I had to give reasons why and plead my case as to why it was important. If you expect a remote job in which you have your responsibilities and you can clock in and work, and then work is done at the end of the shift, this is not that role. Management is far too intermingled in your personal lives, but in a manipulative way, to where they can put more responsibility on you. Compensation for the role is very low. I started through a temp agency and was promised I could renegotiate my salary if/when taken on full-time. Then was stonewalled when the time came, and given the run around of excuses. There is no opportunity for advancement. I took this job while a student, and it primarily served its purpose, other than making barely above minimum wage in my market. I would avoid it unless you really want a primarily remote-based work environment, with that being the only positive.
