Pros

The people that you work with day-to-day are nice and easy to work with. Generally, there aren't a lot of difficult personalities to deal with. The bonus structure is decent and for the most part, merit based.

Cons

There is a revolving door in Corporate. It is not uncommon for employees to leave only after a few months. It's become expected that good people don't stay. And for those that do stay, they become complacent and try to do as little as possible. There are employees that work really hard, and unfortunately, being a Chinese bank, putting in the hours matters. The CEO is a CPA so managing costs and balancing the books is how the company is run, not based on opportunity and growth.

Pros

I gained valuable experience working with customers and processing different banking transactions. The environment was professional, and I learned how important accuracy and teamwork are in daily operations. My manager was approachable, and I always felt comfortable asking questions when I needed help.

Cons

Some days are much busier than others, especially when the branch has a high volume of walk-in clients.

Pros

This was a great place to start and develop my banking career. I received proper training and was given opportunities to take on more responsibilities over time. The work helped improve my communication skills and attention to detail. I also enjoyed working with supportive colleagues.

Cons

There can be a lot of paperwork and compliance requirements, but that's expected in the banking industry.
