Pros

I got paid on time!

Cons

It’s all politics! Every organization has some but here it is the culture. It’s got the makings of a reality show. The worst leadership/management team of any organization I’ve ever been around. Most management has no experience managing a bank this size and lacks basic education. Pay and benefits are terrible! Way below industry norms. High turnover of course, no training, uneducated management team who is focused on self promotion. Favoritism and politics. Think you can work hard and get promoted? Not here. If you are a yes person, don’t have any self-respect, and know how to blame others for your mistakes and shortfalls you will get far here. The bank has grown too fast for its own good. Processes are outdated and inefficient. One group forwards an email to another group, who forwards to another then another and another while cc’ing half the bank; that’s just to reset a password. There is no work life balance. Any 4 and 5 star reviews have to be fake or from someone who just started. At the end of the day if you take a position and what you have read starts to ring true then don’t wait to make your great escape because it won’t get better.

Pros

I gained valuable experience working with customers and processing different banking transactions. The environment was professional, and I learned how important accuracy and teamwork are in daily operations. My manager was approachable, and I always felt comfortable asking questions when I needed help.

Cons

Some days are much busier than others, especially when the branch has a high volume of walk-in clients.

Pros

This was a great place to start and develop my banking career. I received proper training and was given opportunities to take on more responsibilities over time. The work helped improve my communication skills and attention to detail. I also enjoyed working with supportive colleagues.

Cons

There can be a lot of paperwork and compliance requirements, but that's expected in the banking industry.
