Pros

What I love about Epic is the company offers excellent benefits and is very generous with both salary and rewards. The supportive leadership and positive U.S. culture are also standout features. Additionally, the option to work permanently from home has been a fantastic benefit. I highly recommend working here! There are employees in the company that works for 11 to 20 years here.

Cons

Working at Epic PH comes with several challenges. One significant concern is the practice of allowing family members to work within the same team, which often leads to conflicts of interest and favoritism. Additionally, the HR department in the Philippines office lacks compassion and reliability, particularly when handling confidential matters. Lastly, the promotion process is notably slow; even when endorsed by US-based managers, the PH HR seems to create unnecessary obstacles.

Pros

The support given by contract manager, not having to negotiate the contracts myself and having a third party handle that for me.

Cons

Lack of stability, having multiple supervisors and managers due to reporting to both the school site and the contractor. A lot of miscommunication when too many people from different companies are involved. Also school staff are not very friendly to contractors because they know you’re there short term.
