Pros

It is located in beautiful downtown Orlando Florida, great location when it comes to your commute to and from work. There is the Sunrail, Lynx City Bus, located right off of I4 and the 408 major highways. Great nightlife scene and city parks for fun before or after work. The employees for the majority are great to work with, although competitive its a very healthy competition but unfortunately they are only brought close due to cons listed below, cons they all must deal with on a daily basis.

Cons

With any pros or cons mentioned in this Glassdoor review once again I do stress you *ask questions and do your own research*, this review is to only guide you to the truth. The cons of the company starts all the way at the top and trickles down to mid management onward. I have only interacted with these individuals in a work environment but there seems to be a "just do as your told" way to managing and not do what is the right for the customer also employee. The software is aesthetically pleasing both front and back office but its functionality is absolutely not ready for the American market. The retail side is missing certain features such as layway, EBT is not functional, no weighted scale integration which of course is essential when it comes to any functioning grocery store, kilogram is available but not pounds and this is to only name a few of the missing features that any retail business needs to run day-to-day. Hospitality is missing key features like an adequate tip out (because it is a UK product), availability to take tabs, delivery, etc. Ask how many refunds do they average and ask how many are for restaurants due to a lack of tip out. *ask questions, do your research* With this said we were made to sell to business owners with fingers crossed there will be no questions about the missing features both retail and hospitality. Hardware is decent enough, durable touchscreen terminal but the issues pertain to what it did not integrate with. This also goes with the software working correctly with third-party hardware, "integrated in a non-integrated way" is one of many ways we worked the customer to the sale. *ask about credit card processing* The employees are in no way at fault, the entire team has been told these problems were being fixed and work on, it's a start-up so normal but 6 months into the start-up the majority of the issues that were there in January are still present if not even worse. Recently the CEO of EPOS NOW came to the U.S. to meet with the sales team to offer an update on software only tell the team he is now starting on the features himself due to a weak development team he hired not doing their job, so he is starting from scratch, 6 months in. Either it is bad business decisions or manipulation, *ask questions, do your own research* There are three things if working correctly and together will offer a great EPOS system...software, hardware, and support. Support team as a whole work hard and can only handle what is actually possible given the circumstances. With a software missing key features, a vast amount of the shipments are either sent to wrong place, not on time, or both and a team that is not nearly big enough to handle not only support but full implementation of the software. It's all about the sale, let the rest take care of it self or not take care of it self, we will deal with it later. Every morning we were forced to come in 15 minutes early at 8:45 am, we were never paid for this while I was there. Come in to be told the same thing over and over by management, with a thirst for knowledge and advancing my skills, it was quite frustrating. "These features will be here soon, there's more opportunities" "Challenge the customer" "Build urgency" rather than solving all or at least some of the cons that are truly hurting the sales team and the U.S. branch. Management would rather place the blame on the sales teams talent, effort, and intelligence to close the sale. A start-up is of course is going to have its ups and downs but instead of dealing with any issues head on it was either swept under the rug or put back on to the sales team when obvious its the software, support, and 50% of management that is the issue but as I repeatedly state *ask questions, do your own research*, and come to your own conclusions.
