Pros
The benefits package is great. From what I see AXA has extremely competitive health insurance rates. For self only in 2008 I only paid about $37 twice a month for full coverage which req'd no deductibles. It provided 100% coverage for in network. At the level I was at I received 24 vacation days a year & about 11 holidays. Work life balance is really good & the company was looking into opening more positions to work from home. STD & LTD is paid by the company & is excellent in comparison with other companies. Overall AXA has great benefits.
Cons
Management does not always seem to be as knowledgeable as the people they are managing. Some people tended to be satisfied with the status quo & one got the sense that people just wanted to ride out their time until retirement. They didn't want to go anywhere else primarily because of the familiarity of the company; yet, they didn't want to strive extremely hard to do more at AXA. The people in some areas of the company overall are not very skilled and seem to have no concern about this. However, in all fairness I believe the company was actively looking to improve the quality of its' employees.
