Pros

ExamSoft has strong leadership with a clear and consistent vision for where the company is headed. The organization does a great job staying true to its identity while continuing to evolve its product suite in ways that meet and often exceed client needs. There is a genuine mindset of continuous improvement, and that shows up in both the platform and how teams approach their work. It’s also a mission you can genuinely get behind. The company is deeply invested in doing right by its clients and often goes further than most to ensure success. There’s a strong commitment to getting it right, every time, not just delivering a product. Training and onboarding are taken seriously, and teams are generally supportive and willing to help you ramp and succeed. There’s a sense that people want you to do well, especially early on. The company also does a solid job of practicing what it promotes around work-life balance. While base salaries may not always be the most competitive, the bonus structure, commissions, and overall benefits package help offset that gap in a meaningful way.

Cons

Upward mobility is limited, and career progression can feel unclear or stagnant over time. There is also a noticeable tendency for favoritism within management, which can impact opportunities and team dynamics. The culture can lean political and, at times, toxic depending on the team or leadership structure. While it’s not the worst environment out there, it can create friction and inconsistency in employee experience.
