Union Negotiated a better Health Plan for Legacy Medco Union Sites than ESI offered(lower deductible and out of pocket, Rx cost are only $10 & $30 for 90 day supplies or $5 & $15 at retail and we can go to local pharm. as many times as we want ), No pay cuts for employees already hired before March 1st 2013) we kept our Vacation & Time Bank without losing any days and we get them upfront like we always have (non-union employees lost up to 7 days depending on how long they have been with the company & they earn a percentage for every 40 hrs), We have a Union that is there to make sure that our rights are protected.
Cons
Legacy Medco Management seems lost, they are over micro-managing - ESI has implemented things that make no sense, and are trying to run things out of satellite offices to control several buildings. They do not care about employees, they only care about numbers, the acquisition has killed our spirit, and our care. The Legacy Medco people use to LIKE coming to work now- We are there for a PAYCHECK!
