Liars. Performance appraisal not based on individual performance, but on your performance rating against everyone else at your grade level. Only those with jobs having high visibility or a cost savings project receive rewards. If you work in an internal support function, you have no chance of your efforts, no matter how great they might be, being recognized. So incredibly tight with funding that many critical project needs are put on hold or canceled. ESI uses lots of contractors because they can easily end the contracts without having to deal with severance or Cobra costs. This again shows how little they are interested in their employees. Having worked for many years in management prior to my company being bought by ESI, I was appalled at what I was being told to do.
