Pros
Compensation was competitive. Work at home is great.
Cons
The company is trying to figure out how to work together as a merged organization since acquiring Medco. Due to the high # of layoffs, the workload increased. Working hard is not the issue, it's trying to navigate and find people in departments to assist in client issues. In my role I rarely dealt with mail order or member issues. As a result of all the downsizing, I found myself focused on these items and was left with less time to grow my business and service my clients. I was became a highly paid CSR. I took pride in my work and worked hard, I averaged 55 hours a week. It was frustrating that others did not seem to have the same pride, I think so many just became numb as things started to go downhill. Long term clients were feeling surprised at all the issues that began to arise and continued. New clients felt as if they were sold something but the company did not live up to what sales had promised. I decided to leave the organization when I realized my reputation was being tarnished by things I could not control. Company reductions and lack of thoughtful SOPs made it difficult to do my job.
