Pros
The new headquarters is very nice. The cafeteria is excellent. They pay contractors very well. They've attempted to advance their technologies. Everyday is a new challenge. The corporation continues to grow.
Cons
They treat employees like commodities rather than humans, unless of course you are connected to the right manager. If you know the right people then you receive all the praise and job security that you would ever need. They need to stop existing in constant emergency mode. For a company so large and with so much resources available to them they could easily cultivate the knowledge and experience that they have gained so that development and implementation could occur in an orderly fashion with far fewer mistakes. Every time they let someone go all of the knowledge that the person has gained just walks right out the door. Management does not seem to understand the huge expense associated with this loss. It takes 3 months for a new person to become fully productive and it could take up to a year or more to become an expert. You spend all of that time training that person only to dismiss them? Does this make sense?
