Pros
I happen to be in a great group with great people. They're smart and know how to do things in best-of-class ways. But you need to be lucky enough to be in a good group to have this experience.
Cons
As with many large companies, the yes-men move up the ladder. A few managers obviously care more about pleasing their managers than taking care of the people below them. Teams are silos and presume the worst about other teams because of the lack of working together closely.
