Pros

Paid well, good management. Modern equipment. Very safe. Gave advance warning of layoffs when they could. Good planning. kept work area clean. Almost always provided materials and equipment we needed. If something broke, they would replace it quickly.

Cons

They couldn't always back up employees when the customers were angry, but they tried. Like all construction jobs, people had to be let go when the job ended, but if you really wanted to stay, they would find another job for you and kept people busy except in the worst of times.

No overtime on most jobs which allows for balanced homelife

Cons

Quality and quantity of tools and ppe provided is seriously lacking. No reason every ladder has blooms and makes you itch, or that 30 guys on one site are sharing one band saw, or have to search for self toppers on the ground from other trades.
