Union insurance, that is all

Cons

Favoritism, nepotism, micromanagement, failure to listen to the men in the field. No value on training, if you don't know it when you get here you won't when you leave either.

Pros

No overtime on most jobs which allows for balanced homelife

Cons

Quality and quantity of tools and ppe provided is seriously lacking. No reason every ladder has blooms and makes you itch, or that 30 guys on one site are sharing one band saw, or have to search for self toppers on the ground from other trades.
