Pros

Good place to work, especially for younger career professionals just starting out, mission-oriented, kind people, inclusive and considerate teams, good work life balance. I think depends on the division but supervisors supportive in general.

Cons

Can feel micro managed at times at a junior level position due to top down structure of senior level employees making the decisions, assigning folks to projects, etc. Billing codes also contribute to this, every minute of your day has to be accounted for, but I guess that's how consulting works. However, overall positive and mission oriented work environment.

Contract based work is always a mixed-bag. Can sometimes become easy to get stuck working on a particular contract without ability to move laterally.
