Pros

Friendly co-workers. Senior Management visibility.

Cons

Challenging with different work and communication cultures b/n India (where 1/2 of the company is) and rest of world. Employees receive current state of affairs of company online via news outlets (including recent 2nd round of layoffs). No internal comms person (unheard of in a global company of 5K+). Ongoing class action lawsuit due to misrepresentation of earnings/health of company during IPO. Internal sales targets consistently not being met is disconcerting. Leadership struggles with CHAT (see company website) other than lip service as it attempts to be profitable. Competitive base and bonus structure, except company bonuses have not been paid out due to poor company performance measurements.

Pros

- Mostly good salary/benefits - Nice office - Some decent coworkers

Cons

If you have to do mass layoffs of hundreds of employees every 18 months, leaders need to look in the mirror to find the true problem with the business. Because it's not the competent people that actually get things done that are being laid off with no warning and limited severance. Don't expect any job security here. Also: - Still behind on certain benefits (extremely limited 401k match and bad expense policies not in line with US standards) - Work life balance is hard with large teams in both India and the US - Some employees who have been here 10+ years are completely unresponsive and largely incompetent but still get raises, promotions, and aren't ever scrutinized by leadership. The politics game runs deep here.
