Pros

Communication with management wasn't difficult Willing to train people green to the trades Steady work flow Will purchase tools for beginners (but it is deducted from pay) Simple enough time card system Good starting pay Understanding attendance tactics for new employees

Cons

As a brand new employee I was generally placed wherever, my first week was with the controls department, a couple weeks with plumbing before eventually being put on where I applied in electrical, sometimes helping in the warehouse when work was slow Was originally leaving to find work in a different field I was more interested in, got convinced to stay for a position that I'd mentioned wanting to go to, and from there communication fell apart so I later departed Pay is biweekly and not weekly Certain coworkers were less than friendly because they felt like they were stuck in their positions, but I expected that from field work like this Strict break policy when management wants something to crack down on

Pros

Travel and seeing new things.

Cons

Micromanaging and stressful. You will not get trained for anything literally job and will always get belittled. And you have no room for advancement if you are a minority. I was laid off 4/22/26 and had charges filed on me 05/04/26. Thanks GEMCO
