Pros

Innovative pipeline includes medicines that could truly help patients; biologics/biosimilars R&D and production capability in-house; a few truly impressive middle/senior management in NJ/specialty division; competitive starting salary; unlike most pharma companies, spend is primarily allocated to innovative R&D and producing affordable medicines

Cons

US business has limited autonomy due to dynamic with India-based executive management; generally amateurish quality of work across key functions results in many costly mistakes, makes it difficult to attract and keep talent; indecisive executive leadership/unclear communication and direction from the top; inequitable treatment of employees in generics business as compared to specialty/innovative business; despite impressive innovative leadership, team is extremely dysfunctional and chaotic; benefits package lacking versus competition; no training or professional development opportunities; rapid turnover and corresponding low morale.
