Pros

Free fruit and view outside the office is nice

Cons

Was doing well at this company. Got pulled into a meeting on my lunch to say I am not doing well. Got put on a PDP. This was on a post it note. No documentation. Continuously asked for help and never got it. Got given a letter on my way out basically saying whether to let me stay or go. Decided to make my own path and handed my notice in. Spoke to HR to begin with, and they even agreed that the culture is like this. Working here really knocked my confidence, and vowed to never get a job in IT again, as well as never trusting a company. Lost everything over this job. I’m glad I’ll never have to and never will deal with this company again.

Pros

*Flexibility. I dont always work 9-5. I often travel with my role and happy to work weekends/evenings when required (tenders season). *Balance-work/life *Trust to get on with the job-entrepreneurial attitude. *Opportunity to explore new markets and provide a case to the business *Payrise *MBA application-Glide University

Cons

*Geography- would love to be able to have more face to face opportunities with my colleagues. *I would like to see a transparent pay scale (exc.bonus/comms) across the business.

Pros

I have been fortunate enough to have worked at both small and huge organisations over the last 25 years, and Glide in my opinion is right up there with the worst, and one of my most regretful life experiences/choices.

Cons

Like any other business, there is good and bad; Glide employs some good and even great people, however it often feels like they also harbour and revel in association with some of the worst people! From the CEO that fancies himself a ladies’ man and Temu 007, to the pocket sized CTO that clearly has an unfathomable desire to be known as a ‘tough guy’ by bullying anyone and everyone possible (Jack Russel syndrome).
