Pros

*Flexibility. I dont always work 9-5. I often travel with my role and happy to work weekends/evenings when required (tenders season). *Balance-work/life *Trust to get on with the job-entrepreneurial attitude. *Opportunity to explore new markets and provide a case to the business *Payrise *MBA application-Glide University

Cons

*Geography- would love to be able to have more face to face opportunities with my colleagues. *I would like to see a transparent pay scale (exc.bonus/comms) across the business.

Pros

Absolutely nothing was a pro here.

You'll see the review for the bullying manager. I'm at least one that got bullied out. The worst part is that I went through the proper channels to raise what was happening and got let go for doing so. Now there's two people making the claim. It does make me review the situation in a much better light. I feel vindicated. I'm not at all surprised to hear that they've badmouthed multiple employees. When I started, I was listening to calls of people leaving that week and the insults given to their performance alone, no criticism just pure insults. Should have been my eye opener. That and the near complete lack of training for 50% of the role, which wasn't a contractual duty. But we had to pick it up as the entire previous team had quit and left it completely unmanaged. I see why. I feel I have to put my review to warn others it's true. The workplace is completely toxic and it's from the management down. You can be a top performer but if they don't like you, for whatever reason, then good luck! You will need it.

-some colleagues that I'm still friends with made it bearable

-The manager is extremely good at conveying a pleasant persona to you and others. However do not let this deceive you. -Pulled people into meetings to find out who had written a negative review on the company, tactics included 1 on 1 interrogation, asking you who you thought had left the review, and making one colleague turn on another. Literally backward behaviour, when a bad review comes out, there is a way to manage your team and make them feel supported, this manager took the opposite route alike to a dictator. -Since leaving, I have found out I was made a mockery of by the manager of the team, all I did was work hard and be kind however this manager must have been bullied when a child as they themselves have now developed into a bully. This is the biggest shame yet. -The Company made redundancies and a work schedule was developed to enslave existing colleagues, no wonder why said colleagues found new ventures. -overcharging vulnerable and naïve students is their method of turning a profit, no wonder why the company is flailing. -Finally, being good at Customer service is not a "skill" anyone who has common sense can do this, let's stop pretending to be a manager in this region gives you the power to mock others who have left. Nothing is worse than a jealous individual of another who has enormous potential outside of Glide.
