Nepotism is rife, there's only 1 manager in the whole support department who I would say got there by being qualified. Redundancies got pretty frequent in the past 5 years, whole departments and areas of the country getting made redundant for the silliest reasons and has so far, always led to worse service being provided to customers. Pay was benchmarked against other ISPs (by Glide) and found to be much lower than the industry average, Glide did not want to fix this. More often than not now, there is no yearly payrises, not even to keep up with inflation.
