Pros
For the most part, the people who work here are very knowledgeable and friendly/easy to work with. The company has also added a mentor program in the past few years, which does work to make things easier for new hires, as I recall when I first started it was difficult. There are enough people who do not mind showing you the ropes or helping out when you have questions. Commuting to the office is convenient from a public transportation perspective, but being located in times square also makes it a little hectic at times. Salary is pretty standard, they do have good benefits and the coffee/tea situation is pretty great. As I am starting a family, allowing employees to work from home for periods of time was a nice touch. The work is good; Hardesty wins a lot of interesting projects, so there is always opportunity. Great and supportive management, from my point of view. The company is also growing, so that adds to the opportunities as they generally promote from within.

Cons
Open floor plan, so the office environment can be kind of loud at times—but they do allow listening to music through headphones.
