Lack of direction for new employees Didn't feel valued as a person or as an employee just a butt in a chair with billable hours Provided little to no constructive feedback on job performance except when criticizing work once changes could not feasibly be made Senior engineers took credit for work after making miniscule changes to work by others HR not helpful or understanding to employees No form or mentor/advisor program despite being told there was one when I inquired about it at my interview As a female I felt as though I was only a diversity hire and basically like I was just being put up with in the office and they treated the male intern with more respect and welcoming. Would not recommend working here unless you are a male and would like to do all of your professional growth on your own time.

No bridge design work in local office Nighttime bridge/tunnel inspection or emergency inspection work Office culture is terrible Takes a long time to get promoted Salary, raises and bonuses below industry standard No help with relocation Minimal job related training No reimbursements for professional memberships and license expenses The office manager is extremely manipulative and runs the place like a jail, monitoring every smallest aspects of daily routine including interactions with other engineers, coffee and lunch breaks, food habits etc. The principal in the office has no interest in interacting and developing relationships with his fellow engineers and hardly ever listens to or implements new ideas on how things can be changed for the better.
