Pros
They do offer competitive pay. Most coworkers are nice enough to work with.
Cons
It feels like it takes an act of congress to get PTO approved. It takes months and months to get an answer on approval or denial. They will wait until just a few weeks until the time you requested. They also lied prior to hire regarding expectations for hours worked. They sent emails telling us not to work OT but I was scheduled for OT every single week. They also absolutely waste a ton of money as a company on orientation. I found very little value in any of the orientation classes. It was all extremely basic knowledge and was also quite repetitive on top of that. In several areas they pay RNs to work well below their training which is also a waste of resources. I really expected a lot more efficiency out of a company that boasts about its size and span across the US. The EMR is slow and glitchy.
