Pros

* Great people and guests, A lot of tips and encouragement from frequent faces * Promotes from within and encourages growth * GREAT corporate office and corporation. Everybody above the property wants to see you succeed. * Meet new people, learn new things, build connections, and see guests daily * Some good benefits, the hotel discounts are really the best benefit. The pay could be better, but it covers the bills.

Cons

* A LOT of overtime. Count on yourself being the only one at the desk 99% of the time. I average about 45-50 hours a week. * Management does not step in on weekends, if there is no FOM you will be by yourself, If you are going to be the FOM, prepare yourself to be the only one making all of the decisions on weekends. * When there is an issue, people WILL get in your face, Prepare to be yelled at or worse * Shifts are essentially the same for a supervisor as an agent, and you will basically be doing the same exact job with "more" responsibilities. 7am-3pm, or 3pm-11pm. There is some work-life balance, but it can be stressful. It is a very good day if we get another person at the desk.

Pros

Colleagues are fun to work with

Cons

Management is terrible. They expect you to do things around their timeline, but when you ask them for something, crickets. There are no sop's. This place flies by the rest of their pants and half the stuff you do is questionable. When you do question it, it's just how it is. Expect to put in about 5-10 hours of overtime each month.
