Pros

They are responsive via phone, text, and email. If you have questions they do respond fairly quickly, same day.

Cons

No holiday pay. Default 401k deferral. Even when opting out during the initial account setup, a percentage of my income was still deferred to their 401k plan. They said they sent out an email notification warning to make changes or cancel, but I never received it (checked all my email folders, including spam). But this wouldn’t even be an issue if their 401k deferral was optional in the first place. They don’t even match it, so what’s the benefit? Some of us prefer to save and manage our own money.

Pros

Working at HRU Technical Resources, Inc. has been a really positive experience for me, especially being part of the End of Line department in the GM automotive space. From day one, I’ve felt supported — the team is professional, approachable, and genuinely cares about its employees. One thing I really want to highlight is the immigration support. The whole process was handled smoothly and in a timely manner, which made a big difference for me and my family. Special thanks to Teresa Carper, the Vice President of Operations, who has been an incredible leader — responsive, supportive, and always willing to listen. This company understands that success doesn’t happen overnight — it’s a long journey, and they’re in it with you. There are good opportunities for growth, and they take employee feedback seriously. Sure, like any company, there are some processes that could be streamlined a bit more, but the overall culture is focused on improvement and making things better for everyone. If you're looking for a company that treats you like more than just a number, HRU is a great place to be.

Cons

- Could focus more on the benefits
