Pros

Night and day shifts that accommodated schedules, so if you did something in the morning that wouldn’t allow you to work full time it was okay.

Cons

Temp agencies were used to hire employees, meaning you were given a very low hourly wage along with a huge amount of turnover. You were treated like a child working for the call center, all this for 11 bucks a day and a .25 can’t raise a year. Every single thing you did was monitored to the second you got off the phones to using the bathroom. You were reprimanded daily for the amount of time you spent away from the phones. We’re not talking about an excessive amount we’re talking about going over 6 minutes per hour. Meaning if you took to long in the bathroom you’d hear about it the next day. One manager had it out for everyone and created a very hostile work environment, if you are thinking about working for the call center do yourself a favor and stay away.

Pros

My team and the connections I've made, their support and strong team effort.

Cons

Had 3 managers in first year. Lack of communication and leadership. Pay is substantially lower than competition. No Work/Life balance - all work! HR was ineffective, and slow to respond to issues and questions. Management only sees dollar signs and are quick to make judgements regarding employee's work, have unreal expectations, show no compassion, and put people in boxes... giving no feeling of belonging. The workforce development platform is outdated and there is a lack of connection with sales and product teams to discuss what client's urgently need. HSTM cannot keep up.
