Pros

Strong collaboration and a supportive team environment, as RBTs have frequent opportunities to work together, share ideas, and problem solve. There are also opportunities to participate in clinic activities, such as decorating for different seasons, creating craft activities, and making DTT materials, which can make the work environment more engaging and creative. Offers somewhat consistent and predictable hours.

Cons

Noticeable high school-like, cliquey atmosphere, which can make the work environment feel exclusionary and uncomfortable at times. The company has also shifted toward a more corporate focus, where leadership decisions often do not prioritize the well-being of RBTs, BCBAs, or clients. This is reflected in practices that may feel unethical, such as keeping the clinic open during unsafe conditions in order to maintain productivity. There are also operational concerns, including reduced administrative time due to notes being replaced by AI, which can impact the quality of documentation and clinical reflection. Staff are often scheduled for back-to-back sessions without adequate breaks, and there have been instances where RBTs are not provided with a lunch break. Additionally, turnover is extremely high, leading to a lack of continuity of care, as clients frequently have to adjust to new therapists. The work culture can also feel tense, with a catty or unsupportive tone from upper management, and HR is often unresponsive when concerns are raised.
