Was not a great experience

Pros

There were free snacks. Pay was ok for the position.

Cons

I’ve worked in human services for nearly 12 years, and this was by far my worst experience. There was little to no training. When I needed guidance I was told to “figure it out”. While hospitalized, I was harassed to get my doctor’s notes in and put my time off request into their system. I was ultimately let go for misuse of time off and for “not meeting expectations”, which was basically that they did not feel that I was being friendly enough in the office. This agency is for profit, and it was frustrating to see families sit on the waitlists forever because of what insurance coverage the child had. I also overheard the marketing team talking about having to find a stock photo of someone “looking autistic enough” for the agency’s brochures. It was really difficult for me to work here as I am very passionate about helping families get the services and resources their children deserve. In addition, PTO was HORRIBLE. 10 days total for vacation and sick, as well as only maybe 7 paid holidays.

Pros

The clinical team was nothing but amazing and always supportive of one another

Cons

**Poor Pay** Compensation has consistently fallen short of industry standards, leaving employees feeling undervalued and resentful. The lack of financial recognition for hard work and dedication has created a demoralizing atmosphere. **Overworked and Understaffed** Excessive workloads have become the norm, with employees regularly working long hours to meet unrealistic deadlines. The chronic understaffing has led to an unsustainable level of stress and burnout. **No Work-Life Balance** The company's culture prioritizes productivity over well-being, leading to a complete lack of work-life balance. Employees are expected to be available at all hours, sacrificing personal time and relationships. **Lack of Communication** Communication is severely lacking at all levels of the organization. Employees feel disconnected from leadership and are often left in the dark about decisions that affect their work. This has resulted in confusion, frustration, and a lack of trust. **Consequences** The combination of poor pay, overwork, no work-life balance, and lack of communication has had a devastating impact on employee morale and productivity. The following consequences have been observed: * High employee turnover * Decreased motivation and engagement * Increased errors and accidents * Deterioration of customer service * Damage to the company's reputation

Pros

Fast RBT certification process Great for 1st time rbts

Cons

-No sick days -Punitive PTO policy (will take it if you're sick/ not offer a 'leave without pay' alternative) -No COVID19 policy -Overworked BCBAs (no program additions/ changed because they are struggling to get things done/ over scheduled) -Safety concerns (broken toys, tables, shelves, walls etc) -The director is in her 20's, with seemingly very little leadership experience -Infantalization of clients -Claims to be "neurodivergent affirming" while participating in said infantalization and pushing clients past their comfort zone by forcing greetings and emphasis on eye contact -No physical management trainings offered or required (this results in new rbts pulling arms of young children, picking them up incorrectly etc. This can result in shoulders being dislocated and other such injuries)

Thank you for your feedback. We take your comments very seriously and will address some of the clinical elements mentioned. Our team members receive comprehensive training, including job shadowing and comprehensive ABA practice understanding. We also always provide supervision in our clinics ensuring no clinicians are left alone with clients. Your concerns are important to us, and we will be conducting a deeper review of this experience. We are actively reviewing our PTO policy to ensure it meets the needs of our team and in most cases are increasing PTO accruals to account for sick time, vacation, holidays, and similar needs. Additionally, we can accommodate these needs through our leave of absence. Our current team has asked us to review some of our accruals, and we are doing so with the hope of continuing to support them. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. This helps us create a more supportive work environment for everyone
