Pros
There are too many Pros to list here about Henderson. Having worked in this industry for 2 decades with other engineering firms, Henderson truly cares about its employees and invests in us daily. Weekly training sessions are offered to all employees and available to grow your knowledge base and learn more about other disciplines. No other company that I have worked at offers that. The Quality Evaluation Veterans (QEV) team, which consist of great seasoned individuals, work full time to review projects before they go out the door and help improve on company standards. Additionally, the QEV team helps mentor younger designers and engineers to focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses. Leadership and management are very approachable. If at any time an issue arises regardless of how busy they may be, they will make time for you. If you have a passion or a certain path you want to take in your career, management/leadership will support you in getting there, as long as you’re willing to put in the work. Flexible work hours are nice and give employees a great work life balance. Even though the company has 700+ employees, everyone is treated like family.
Cons
Pastry Friday. Its a sweet way to end the week by far, but really tough when your on a diet. LOL
