Pros

Increasingly design-led, solid internal commitment to hiring a diverse workforce, lots of strong Microsoft technical talent, management generally respects a good work-life balance. Some work-from-home depending on your team. We build complex custom technology at the enterprise level and solve big, interesting problems for clients, which is exciting and different day-to-day.

Cons

Waves of intensity and inactivity can be tricky to manage, especially when on multiple projects. Management can be stretched thin, geographically separate. Employees are definitely 'resources to be allocated' and you may be put on projects with little notice and and little regard for your opinion. Lack of accountability long-term with projects is a downside. Sometimes institutional knowledge disappears with an employee and can cause problems down the road.

Thank you for the fantastic 5 star review! The work life balance and the ability to work remote is a wonderful benefit for Insight employees. Insight's commitment to be a strong competitor in the marketplace is important to them as a business. Great advice to management and we agree that this is important to keep in mind. Thanks for the feedback.
