This has been a horrible experience coming in as a contractor. Training was rushed and we don’t have all the resources needed to successfully complete the tasks at hand. Worst position within the company (or so it seems) since management allows most callers to get away with verbal abuse. Can you report it? Yes Do they follow up with you? No Can those same cardholders that verbally abused you keep calling in to abuse others? Yes Which indicates Nothing is ever really done about it except reporting it! Report it to make it seem like they care but truth is their contract with the bank/credit union is more important that a little name calling or abusive behavior from one of their card holders. It’s obvious. Almost impossible to move around in the company unless you know someone or you’re one of managements favorites. The pay is extremely low for this role. The call volume is insane. It’s never a pause in between calls. This company is greedy and take on more credit unions/banks than they have people to handle the volume. So you can expect to be constantly over worked here. You will take about 110-130 calls per shift. And most of the people you’re speaking to will be rude, condescending and abusive. So there goes your mental health because they don’t want you off the phones taking breaks outside of your scheduled break. No inflation increase and annual merits are a couple of cents 0.28 is what you’ll be rewarded for staying with Jack Henry for a year. Management here lacks everything needed to be in a supervisory role. They don’t listen. Lack compassion when family issues affect you coming to work. They don’t take 100+ calls so they don’t understand how defeated you feel when you’re constantly abused all day all they do is focus on why your ACW is too high or why you needed to log off in between breaks because you needed a mental break after consistently being verbally abused. They don’t understand because they can’t relate to being on the Phones all day. They watch your screens like you’re purposely doing something wrong. Just to catch you making a mistake then you’re dinged for it. They don’t expect you to be human here more like a robot. The way they watch you is far beyond micro managing. Even when you’re doing great you will STILL be point out where you should have done something different. If I’ve honestly never worked for a more horrible company than Jack Henry
