Pros

*LVMH looks great on resume *4 weeks PTO, half day Fridays *Standard benefits - comparable to other CPG companies (401k match) *Sephora discount -30%

Cons

All the brands' campaigns are more diverse than the actual teams behind them. Don't fall for the fake "girlboss" feminism. BIPOC, NBPOC - stay away! You'll waste years of talent, tears, ruin your health, have every ounce of you overlooked just for a paycheck. The heavy work of DEI is being done by full time employees including management team that is not invested in practicing what they preach. This should all be outsourced to outside consultants. Speaking of management, good luck ever hearing about how our financials are! You'll hear when products launch that everything is exceeding forecast but when it's time for performance reviews, the company has no money for bonuses . Managers are given NO training on how to be leaders. And the pecking order is so real and prevalent. Forget trying to talk to directors or above - they'll look right through you. If you provide the feedback to HR, they'll tell you "well, some personalities are like that since birth - realistically, I can't go that far back." It's a JOKE! A painful joke and lesson I should've learned secondhand from the dozens of shows and movies that showed beauty industry as toxic. Silly me thought times were changing and this sort of stuff wouldn't happen in SF.

Pros

There are some really amazing people to work with depending on the team you're on. Good exposure to what it's like to work on a celebrity brand and for a larger corporation (though it's also a con). They have a good selection of snacks, coffee, amenities.

Cons

There are some really awful people to work with. Lots of "mean girls" which will stay this way unless they swap out some people at the top. Huge lack of accountability, lots of blaming and pointing fingers. They have a beautiful set of principles that they don't follow. Processes are terrible - no one will take ownership and put proper ways of working in place. Kendo is best for younger folks just out of college so they can train you to believe this is the best way of working, and it's just not.
