Pros

Work here if you like college sports. They have a good amount of collaboration between properties and the resources provided to sales people are relatively strong.

Cons

Learfield relies on the affinity people have toward it's product, rather than actual, quantifiable value. A significant portion of customers buy Learfield's product because they are alumnus or a fan of the school, not because they actually think it's worth it from an investment standpoint. The entire Learfield model was/is built on selling radio advertisements to live sporting events. The question is, who actually listens to live sports on the radio anymore? They are all on TV. They will dump you if you start looking elsewhere and they find out (or if you tell them like some people feel is appropriate). A large percentage of the Sr. Management team is blindly loyal to Learfield and doesn't feel anyone should ever want to explore a career change.
