Pros
On the surface this is a company with a great purpose and if you're lucky and can be protected from senior leaders and their micro-management you will be able to engage with this purpose and do great work that helps people in their career. Some of my colleagues are the smartest and most humble people I have worked with.
Cons
The main problem is senior management. Its pretty much an old boys club and it seems like if you're part of the in-group you get away with whatever you want. I honestly don't know if any of the tenured E-team members know how to lead a business. There are attempts to bring in seasoned professionals from outside the organization but it seems they either don't last long or maybe they have to just get on board with the problematic culture in order to survive. So much micro-management and not enough strategic thinking!! They are going to destroy the company which is a shame as there is so much potential for it to be better. Work life balance is non-existent and leadership absolutely do not practice what they preach re career development.
