Pros

Great bonuses on weekends only

Cons

Worked there 6 months. With the work: shift kept changing, suddenly required to work 6/7 days a week to meet production With staff: no communication, poor organization, point person was reported for accusing people of doing drugs/being blatantly racist/writing down when people when to the bathroom/being verbally aggressive. Management encouraged her. Made to feel inadequate for not working more than 65hrs/week. Only given one thirty-minute lunch break, which is suggested that we skip on weekends. Ergonomics told management to have us take additional breaks due to nature of work, management never told us until ergo found out we weren't being given breaks. Blatant retaliation against employees reporting Point Person for her language and behavior.

Pros

It has taught me what I do not want in an employer It gave me experience for way better opportunities It made me realize that being a good worker doesn’t always mean being rewarded

Cons

When injured from being overworked and exhausted , they treated me like trash When compassion fatigue hit— they judged and questioned whether I belonged there rather than understood People make up rumors about you even if you didn’t do anything (it’s like a catty high school in there) Having one bad day constitutes you getting pulled in the office to be scolded If you’re a good worker, and you get your stuff done efficiently, they stuff you with more work Many individuals treat the animals like trash and are covered up by management if they are the “favorites” Most of the trainers there are absolutely catty people and will talk behind your back if you’re “too slow” or “not learning fast enough”
