Pros

Great people work here - proud to work with the best phlebotomists, techs, CSSR's and drivers in the industry. I have a great team who work very hard and take their job seriously. I appreciate that they support patients and consider each one to be important. I appreciate their attention to details. I appreciate that my Manager allows me to run my own business by doing the right thing every day. Good benefits. Challenging work. Ability to move up the ladder has improved considerably in the last year for all levels, not just for managers who want to promote up. I've seen a lot of techs, PST's and lab aides move into higher roles over the last year. This has not happened in past years.

Cons

Employees sometimes have to work long hours. Patient service centers and lab departments sometimes run short due to staffing.

Pros

It has taught me what I do not want in an employer It gave me experience for way better opportunities It made me realize that being a good worker doesn’t always mean being rewarded

Cons

When injured from being overworked and exhausted , they treated me like trash When compassion fatigue hit— they judged and questioned whether I belonged there rather than understood People make up rumors about you even if you didn’t do anything (it’s like a catty high school in there) Having one bad day constitutes you getting pulled in the office to be scolded If you’re a good worker, and you get your stuff done efficiently, they stuff you with more work Many individuals treat the animals like trash and are covered up by management if they are the “favorites” Most of the trainers there are absolutely catty people and will talk behind your back if you’re “too slow” or “not learning fast enough”
