Pros

I liked taking a family and capturing cute, fun and loving portraits. I liked the travel. It takes some getting use to.

Cons

I worked for the church directory division. The guy who was training me was ripping off the customers! He would add a couple of items to their order, (and charge them) and tell them it was part of the "package"...only if they asked. THERE ARE NO PRESET PACKAGES! WE HELP THEM BUILD THEIR OWN! He was adding another $85 to their order...and to his wallet. When I brought this to the attention of an operation manager, she tried to tell me that it was probably part of a PACKAGE! Since then, I've found another area that was hiring a photographer. The man called me and told me that he wanted me to work for him and that training would start the next day. I quit my job to start with this company again and would you know it, when I called him back to let him know I could start the next day...the position had mysteriously been filled. He had called the operation manager and she ruined it for me. When I had my exit interview I was told that due to the circumstances, I would be eligible for rehire....no morals and no conscience.

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
