Pros

You do not have to leave your house , having a good team (not to be confused with good management)

Cons

Everything else … genuinely everything else. You will never have piece of mind again working for this company. You are a number and a means of meeting a quota. Yes, after working you like a dog for 12 hours straight, if you are even remotely falling short; they will be there to remind you. Meanwhile, management is asleep in their beds ignoring your cries for help if you’re overnight, or blatantly ignoring you during the day. And don’t you dare try to have a peaceful day off because you will be bombarded every single day with multiple text asking if you can log on for yet another short staffed shift for a measly $100-$200. Why so short staffed you ask? 99 percent of the time, we were physically ill, mentally/emotionally exhausted and/or straight overworked. To add insult to injury, they dragged on this chat of giving us raises for months, only to come back and give us nothing. Always “we need more donors” with the promise that if we did more work, we would for sure be rewarded. Watching veterans walk out after years of proudly and passionately talking about this company should have definitely alerted us to our future. Management refusing to acknowledge anyone who quit that didn’t share their gratitude for their experience. Pointless meetings constantly asking us for our opinion just to continue doing the same exact thing they were doing before. If you value job flexibility, growth, time freedom, good management or annual raises; I suggest that you make a quick exit and find somewhere else to apply. Literally anywhere else would be a better choice. I couldn’t put less than one star.

We acknowledge current staffing volumes and how it is affecting current employees. It is one of leadership's top priorities to address. Our management team actively works on the floor with first-line staff in an effort to be united. The feedback regarding compensation resulted in a third-party compensation analysis and we updated our pay scales to be in market within our industry. We are saddened to hear about your experience, but we are actively working towards a better balance with action taken daily and appreciate your patience during this time. You or anyone else with concerns is encouraged to reach out to the HR team for further conversation.

Pros

This is the best work environment I’ve ever had hands down. Management is thoughtful and competent. Most people are super driven and caring, which makes a big difference in the day to day environment. One thing they do well is promote from within and really focus on doing the most good for those who need transplants. To me, the top highlight is the people you get to work with. Their hearts are in the right place and there’s a lot of support between coworkers. The PTO and benefits are good and pay has gone up recently. It’s also a very inclusive organization and very LGBT friendly.

Cons

Like many places, there are some slow periods as well as more intense times crunch times.

Pros

Great team environment with coworkers who genuinely support one another. The mission behind the work makes the job feel meaningful and rewarding, especially knowing the impact it has on others

Cons

Like many fast-paced organizations, communication gaps and inconsistent follow-through can occasionally impact morale. Middle management works hard to support staff but can sometimes appear caught between employee needs and top-down expectations that may not always align with the day-to-day realities and challenges teams experience

Thank you for the feedback and sharing your experience. We always appreciate hearing our teammates’ perspectives to see how we can improve and continue to operate with excellence. We heard similar feedback in the most recent annual employee engagement survey. Leadership has implemented changes from these results and is reviewing other potential changes.
