Pros

Great team environment with coworkers who genuinely support one another. The mission behind the work makes the job feel meaningful and rewarding, especially knowing the impact it has on others

Cons

Like many fast-paced organizations, communication gaps and inconsistent follow-through can occasionally impact morale. Middle management works hard to support staff but can sometimes appear caught between employee needs and top-down expectations that may not always align with the day-to-day realities and challenges teams experience

Thank you for the feedback and sharing your experience. We always appreciate hearing our teammates’ perspectives to see how we can improve and continue to operate with excellence. We heard similar feedback in the most recent annual employee engagement survey. Leadership has implemented changes from these results and is reviewing other potential changes.

Pros

Remote opportunity is the only pro I know of.

Cons

Horrible team full of backstabbers, complainers, and laziness that never ceases. Terrible micromanaging incompetent management team. Numbers over everything mentality. Work/ life balance- doesn’t exist. Pay- not enough for what you will deal with here

We truly regret to hear about your experience as this is not the type of environment we wish to promote. LWVI aims to create a respectful, inclusive environment with life/work balance so that all teammates can thrive. New leadership has joined the organization and they are prioritizing any necessary changes to improve employee experience. If you’d like to reach out to the HR team to discuss any of your feedback, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Pros

A routine paycheck is the only perk.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations are the norm. Racism/xenphobia/homophobia/transphobia/sexism permeate all levels from the very top all the way down. This was the most miserable I've ever been in a work environment and I'm glad to be gone every day.

We understand that current staffing volumes in this department have impacted the employee experience. New leadership members have joined and this is one of their priorities to address as soon as possible. While you are no longer at the company, the HR team would be open to hearing your detailed feedback if you would like to reach out. Any current teammates experiencing issues are highly encouraged to speak with HR to discuss any of your concerns. The negative experience you shared is not an environment we intend or want to promote.
