Pros
I work with the best, most caring group of boots-on-the-ground staff I've ever met. They are knowledgeable, generous, and kind. And would give anything to help their patients. They consistently go above and beyond.
Cons
Nothing is anonymous, micromanagement is allowed to run amok, complaints from staff are seen as a problem to be silenced. 9 and 10 visits a day and then if I can't take 2 more from a call-out, I'm a bad nurse. New triage company is so bad, I tell my patients to call me instead since no one cares. I miss the old triage. Higher ups are busy micromanaging amazing staff and murdering morale, and their superiors don't care. Praise is non-existent, blame is rampant, frustration is now the norm. It's so sad. No one looks at management to see how they're treating their teams. No one checks in with the little guys anymore, and if they do we lie to cover our butts. It was not like this a few years ago. And I'm incredibly worried this will be even worse without Gwen.
