Supportive senior leadership that genuinely cares about employees and the mission. The culture is friendly and centered on helping patients and families. The work has a real sense of purpose, and it's rewarding to know what you do makes a difference. Employees are trusted with a good level of autonomy while still having support when needed. Benefits are solid, and the organization does a good job of recognizing teammates through regular appreciation and celebration of accomplishments. Overall, it's a positive place to build a career if you're looking for meaningful work and a supportive team.

There are no major drawbacks that stand out, although the parking spaces at the corporate office are very tight.

The agency is operating off of a decades long reputation but the culture has declined. Many of the leaders who were well-versed in regulations and Medicare conditions of participation as well as leadership skills are no longer with the agency. Many in the senior leadership team push a for-profit agenda, cutting costs at the detriment of patients and staff. Clinical staff are not respected or valued and the autonomy that made working as a clinician at the agency so rewarding is gone. I have heard members at the highest level say racist things, belittle staff with health issues such as diabetes, and bully staff members. Accountability and progressive discipline are applied selectively to workers who push against the negative culture and advocate for staff and patients. New positions within the agency are created to promote certain employees, and departments are restructured to eliminate some of the most knowledgeable and mission driven employees who speak up against wrongdoing, bullying, and unethical decisions. Management acts as if staff should be grateful to work there when they should value staff and appreciate that they chose to work at the agency. There is little to no diversity and management is staffed largely by white women. I did not realize how far things had declined until I left the agency.
