Pros
The recruiters I interacted with before and after I was hired were very nice and always responsive.
Cons
To preface, I come from a hyper-growth startup background and am well-versed in advanced SaaS applications. I was here for two weeks and fell for the smoke and mirrors about how supportive and transparent the culture is and was ready to bring my extensive operations management, coaching, and high-touch client service skills to the table. Instead, I quickly learned how under-handed management is when they collected my feedback requesting more training and unfairly used it against me to my surprise. First of all, there is no formal training. They unrealistically expect you to watch someone typing an email for an hour a day to learn everything by osmosis. I realized they don't care for you to learn the protocols before diving in to handle client inquiries via email, chat, or phone; rather, they prefer you use a "fake-it-to-make-it" approach with clients instead. As of the second week when “training” began, I was scheduled to be in back-to-back meetings daily, to interview candidates, and unreasonably expected to close the same number of email tickets as entry-level hires who weren't tasked with other responsibilities. When I asked them how they considered that a fair comparison I just got blank stares and was told my feedback would be used “for next time.” Very strange. The meetings were excessive with little or no breaks in between. I had minimal time to work on 1-2 client requests right before the end of the day and that was the only hands-on practice with the system I was able to get with limited to no direction. When I expressed this, the other manager made the embarrassing excuse of telling me “I know it was unfair that you were in meetings all day and didn’t have time to train, but you could have multi-tasked by attending meetings and training (yourself) on the side.” So basically, they don’t care if you are not paying attention in meetings but couldn’t sensibly tell me not to attend them in the first place so I can focus on learning at a more reasonable pace? Again, very strange. The entire experience was so weird and a first in my career. All I can say is, it's a blessing to be parting ways and averting this dishonest and toxic dynamic. I hope this review helps other seasoned professionals stay away before getting scammed by this revolving door agency that is trying to pose as a startup.
