Pros

- There is a creative element to the job. - They hire based on GRIT qualities. - Remote work, so they trust you to get your job done.

Cons

- Company burns through people at an alarming rate. Huge layoffs during a mild downturn in the market only to hire again for the same roles a month later. - Remaining staff forced to pick up the slack, 150% more work a week before reducing our teams bonus structure effectively reducing our pay by 5% . - Upper management will replace your professional tools and applications with freeware making the job incredibly cumbersome. - Eye roll "core values" like customer obsession and extreme ownership but nothing about team member success or employee appreciation. - "record growth" but still require to cut costs in areas such as applications and tools, benefits, bonus structure, and workforce reduction.

Thank you for for sharing the feedback. We certainly appreciate our employees and it's disappointing you don't feel it. That means we need to do better. As far as tooling, we've been consistently investing more in tools like Salesforce and building out internal tools to make our teams more effective. I'd like to connect directly to hear more. I hope you reach out.

Work here for 3 months then quit or get fired

Pros

The pay was competitive. The products & services are compelling. The people on your core team are probably the best part of the job in that they are the only enjoyable part.

Cons

The upper management has a churn and burn approach when it comes to talent. It seems that they'll "invest" in you for about 3 months before deciding whether or not you're drinking enough of the koolaid to warrant keeping you. You'll hear "It's not personal, it's about the work" as an excuse to be disrespectful and not be held accountable for being a jerk. If you're not doing the work of two people, you'll probably get told you have performance issues and then get screwed when it comes to severance. If you're looking for the stereotypical startup that people tell you to stay away from due to its toxic work environment, look no further than this trojan horse of a company. You'd be better off going freelance, starting your own company, or taking a 3 month vacation.
