- Poor upper management that doesn't care nor want to listen to anything you have to say. This is especially true for our CEO... who used to have a 5% approval rating that "somehow" jumped to a 10% approval. *cough - NO HR department.... fun fun. - EXTREMELY low promotion possibilities, basically non-existent - Low pay when comparing similar companies in this field, just look at a comparison. - Unnecessary micromanaging that only punishes and does not reward. You can work 50+ hours a week, which is monitored via a minute by minute time log you keep track of. Heaven forbid if you do not go into the office once or twice a week without being threatened to be written up. - Constantly taking away benefits. In the last three/four years we went from full time working from home, noting we were working full time from home before -and- after COVID, to a 20%-40% a week in-office requirement. All "non major" holidays were all but taken away. We were told "PTO time was enhanced to incorporate 7 non national holidays." Yes, because asking for time off that four other people in your five person group would also like to take off, works out well. Oh, and they "encouraged" stock by backs from employees. I have been at MT for 12 years, I have never been able to buy stock. - No matching 401K nor any retirement contributions. You can sign up for a retirement program through MT, but the company doesn't contribute anything. MT is just part of the name/title, but does nothing. There is a "Profit Sharing" program, but it does NOT pay well. I have been at MEDITECH for 12 years, and have barely $18K. My husband, who has been at his company for 6 years, has $64K. - MEDITECH buildings are all withing the Boston area. If you live in Worcester or anything west or south of, the closest building is in Foxborough. All other MA buildings are in Canton, Westwood, and Fall River... which I was told we should be "thankful" for having so many working locations available. They are all in one area, but sure. Don't just take my word for it, look at ALL the other employee reviews. You can even look at similar companies and compare!
